4D TWAIN Plug-in provides scanning with the help of devices that support TWAIN. Scanning can be accomplished using the scanner interface (TWAIN_Acquire) or directly, when you provide the required parameters (TWAIN_AcquireNoInterface). Plug-in returns blob containing the image in the BMP format or can save it into the specified file.

• Scanning with the help of your scanner standard interface, all scanner's functions supported;
• Transferring some of the scanner parameters directly in the 4D form, making it possible to:
  

1. set the dimensions of the scanned image;
2. set the area of scanning;
